Built for durability, the Curb Inlet Filter is encased in a high density polyethylene fabric, secured with 4 thread poly lockstitching and an 85% U.V. rating designed to handle even the most severe of climates. The inner workings consist of tightly rolled Aspen wood excelsior. Encompassing the Curb Inlet Filter are 2 polypropylene straps that act as handles to aid in placing and removing the device with ease. Extending from the handles is a pouch of extremely durable woven geotextile that is capable of holding up to 5 pounds of rock. This pouch, hidden from view inside the drain inlet basin, acts as a stabilizer for the filter. For slopes and added protection on level grade, use Silt Sifter® Bags on opposite ends of the Curb Inlet Filter.
